How it works

How support works.

1Right away

You reach out

Send a request from your dashboard or use the chat. Attach screenshots if you have them.

2Same day

A developer picks it up

Someone who knows WordPress reads it, not a script, and asks if anything is unclear.

3Until it is right

We diagnose and fix

We find the cause, fix it, and test it on your site.

4After

We follow up and prevent

You hear what happened and what we changed so it doesn’t happen again.

How a request goes

One thread, start to finish.

You describe the problem, paste a screenshot if you have one, and the thread does the rest. You see who picked it up, what they found and when it is ready to close.

  • Send it from your dashboard, by email to [email protected], or call (866) 481-0865
  • The status changes as the work moves: New, Being worked on, Waiting on you, Ready to close
  • We write down what we found and what we changed, in plain English
  • You approve and close it, or send it back if something is not right
Real examples

What a request looks like, and how long it takes.

These are typical turnarounds. Fixes always come before new work, and anything that takes your site down comes before everything else.

RequestTurnaroundCounts as
Change the hours on the contact pageSame day, usually within the hourFree on WP Boost and up
Add a staff bio with a photoSame dayFree on WP Boost and up

Redesign a page from scratchEstimate first, usually a weekDevelopment hours, then $150 an hour

Our response promise: same business day, usually much sooner; normal requests within one business day.

Not just another ticket system

You never have to ask “any update?”

Every request gets a live status in plain English from the moment it lands, right in your dashboard.

  • Nine clear states, not just Open and Closed
  • Every status change, timestamped
  • Close finished work with one click, or send it back
  • Your sites, backups, billing and uptime in the same place
What we fix

If it’s WordPress, we fix it.

Plugin and theme conflicts

Two plugins fighting, a theme update that broke the layout, a page builder acting up.

White screens and fatal errors

Critical errors, blank pages and “there has been a critical error” messages.

Broken after an update

We roll it back first so your site works, then fix the cause.

Slow pages

Heavy plugins, huge images, slow database queries and missing caching.

Hacked sites

Malware cleanup, spam redirects and Google warnings, included on every plan.

Database and server errors

Connection errors, timeouts and memory limits, fixed at the server.

What costs what

Free, included hours, or billed.

There is one rule: fixing what breaks is free. New work uses the hours in your plan. Past that, it is $150 an hour, and you get an estimate first.

Always free

Troubleshooting on every plan. Errors, plugin and theme conflicts, broken updates, forms not sending, login problems, hacked sites, slow pages and anything the hosting caused.

On WP Boost and up, small text and image swaps are free too and never touch your hours.

Your plan’s hours

New sections, new pages in your current design, integrations with booking, CRM or email tools, and design changes. WP Boost includes 1 hour a month, WP Pro 3, WP Scale 8. Hours cover the current month.

$150 an hour after that

If a job needs more than your plan includes, we tell you before we start, with an estimate in hours. You can approve it, trim the scope, or wait for next month’s hours. Nothing is billed without a yes from you.

How to send a request
  • Dashboard thread. Best for anything with a screenshot. Open your site, click New request, paste the image, press send.
  • Email. Write to [email protected] from the address on your account. It becomes a thread with the same live status.
  • Phone. Call (866) 481-0865 for anything urgent. We open the thread for you while we talk.
What helps us fix it faster
  • The page address where you saw it
  • A screenshot or a short screen recording
  • When it started and what changed just before
  • The device and browser, if it only happens on one
Compare

A freelancer vs an agency retainer vs Upstrike.

All three can fix a WordPress site. The difference is who is watching it between requests, what a fix costs, and how long you wait.

A good fit?

Who this is for, and who it isn’t for.

This is for you if

  • You have a WordPress site and no developer on staff
  • You want one place to send every problem and change
  • You would rather pay a flat monthly price than hourly surprises
  • Your site brings in leads or sales and downtime costs you money
  • You want to know what happened and why, not just that it is fixed

Probably not for you if

  • You want support for a site hosted somewhere else (our support comes with our hosting, that is how we can see what is going on)
  • You need a full redesign or a brand-new site built (we do that as a project, ask us)
  • Your site is not WordPress
  • You want someone on call around the clock for scheduled changes (urgent fixes are handled right away; normal requests within one business day)

FAQ

Questions, answered.

See plans
What’s the difference between support and maintenance?

Maintenance is the routine work we do every day without being asked: updates, backups, security and monitoring. Support is fixing what you bring us or what breaks. Every plan includes both.

Is troubleshooting really included?

Yes. Fixing anything that breaks is free on every plan and never uses your development hours. Development time is for new work you ask for, like new pages or features.

Can you fix a site someone else built?

Yes. We look after sites built with Elementor, Divi, the block editor and most popular themes. When you join, we check the whole site and tell you what we find.

Can I get support without a monthly plan?

No. Our support comes with hosting and daily care, because that is how we can actually see and fix what’s going on. Plans start at $99 a month with no contract.

How do I ask for help?

Send a request from your dashboard or use the chat. Every request shows a live status, so you always know where it stands.

What’s billed separately?

Nothing for fixes. New work like new pages, redesigns or new features uses your plan’s development time, then $150 an hour, and we always give you an estimate first.

How fast do you reply?

Same business day, usually much sooner. Normal requests are handled within one business day. Anything that takes your site down or stops it taking orders goes ahead of everything else.

Do you offer emergency support at night or on weekends?

Monitoring runs every minute around the clock, and if your site goes down we are alerted and start on it. For requests you send, the promise is the same business day. We do not sell a separate emergency line or charge emergency fees.

What counts as a small change?

Text edits, swapping an image, changing hours or a phone number, updating a price, adding a PDF. On WP Boost and up these are free and do not use your hour. A new section or page uses development time.

Do unused hours roll over?

No. Hours cover the current month. If you have a bigger job coming up, tell us and we will plan it across months or give you a fixed estimate.

Can you work inside my page builder?

Yes. Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, Bricks and the block editor. We work in whatever your site already uses rather than rebuilding it.

Can I talk to a person on the phone?

Yes. Call (866) 481-0865 during business hours, Pacific time. We open the request for you while we talk so it shows up in your dashboard like everything else.
